The word business is scary. It's associated with something big, complicated, time-consuming, and risky. However, business is nothing more than having the courage to charge money. Therefore, it's better to look at business as a side-hustle that you'll use to eventually charge money.
The secret is to start small. Small Pursuit + Effort = Momentum. Momentum x 5 Years = Empire.
Start small. Use 10% of your time on your side hustle. Perfectly if it's something that interests you. You will gain momentum, and eventually, it will grow enough to cancel out your day job.
Focus on creating value. Value is content. The biggest mistake is to start charging too quickly. If you give value upfront, you will attract people like a magnet. Provide value through articles, e-books, videos, podcasts, courses (email courses), photos, graphics, etc. and give it away. Eventually, you'll have so many people around that will be willing to support your side-hustle that you'll be blown away.
Make your side hustle unique. Don't be afraid to share your weirdness. Weirdness equals authenticity, which equals uniqueness. Uniqueness is the ultimate competitive differentiator.
