P: Luck surface area

Luck or serendipity is the result of the combination of your passion and the people you tell about it. When you have a passion and you work hard on it you develop expertise. And expertise enables you to create value.

When you create value and people hear about it, some will want to take action to capture this value. Then, many unexpected things can happen. They can offer you a job, want to invest in you, cooperate with you, pay you, and who knows what else.

The point is, these things are serendipitous. And the more people you effectively communicate your passion the higher the chance that serendipity will occur.

Furthermore, sharing your ideas with others may become a virtuous cycle for creativity where their feedback – i.e. their ideas – fuel yours, making new, unexpected, and novel combinations possible.
