P: Attain a growth mindset by treating life as if it was a game

Reference::

A useful mental model that can ease attaining a growth mindset (or positive mindset) is to treat life as a game. In this game, each life challenge is like a quest to complete. If you complete[synonym] it, you gain experience and eventually level up. The higher your level, the more exciting quests—i.e., life experiences—will be presented to you. For others, these quests are going to seem too hard; however not for you because you will have a sufficient level—i.e., your cup is big enough—to handle them.

"Others" in the previous sentence, reminded me about the worst thing you can do, which is to abandon this game, by stopping to face the challenges. In other words, staying on your current level. This happens to us increasingly nowadays because watching others play the game of life became so easy due to social media. With a tap of a finger, you can access those that complete exciting quests, which tricks you into thinking that you are doing it. This, however, turns you into an NPC—non-playable-character—who just passively drifts through life without purpose.

Life is too rich and exciting to be at the same level.

And I don't want you to think that I am talking here about achieving the Western definition of "success"—money, fame, power, etc. Remember, life is the most sophisticated game in existence (even The Witcher 3 doesn't come close), which means that it can offer you an enormous number of different types of quests. And you, only you, have the power to choose those quests that fit your wants and needs. They can be about family, spirituality, learning different skills, business, money, knowledge, you name it.
